Guy Kawasaki: The Art of the Customer Surveys

I subscribe to Guy Kawasaki’s blog feed (called “How to Change the World”). Even before I had the chance to meet Guy in Indianapolis in 2007, I was a Guy Kawasaki fan. His unabashed optimism and support for the entrepreneur is both refreshing and empowering. Most of all, his plain speak on what is important (and why) serves as a road map for us all on the “artful” elements of starting and growing a business.

In a recent blog post, Guy references a recent article he wrote for OPEN Forum, an American Express resource for “savvy business owners.” The article titled “The Art of Customer Surveys” is mostly a summary of  thoughts from Guy’s friend Dave Wanetick (managing director of IncreMental Advantage) about customer surveys.

Here is the post on the American Express website.  A very quick read where you’ll pick up some thoughts on gaining customer feedback through the use of surveys.
