Formstack Announcement: We’ve Changed Names!

If you went to Formspring.com today you may have noticed quite a big change…yes, we have changed names! We are now Formstack.

In November we launched a social Q&A platform called www.formspring.me. It has become hugely popular and has caused major confusion between the two products. We spun formspring.me out as a separate company in January with a different team and resources. But to allow both companies to continue their growth we decided on a name change for the form builder.

Maintenance Notice

On Monday March 22 Formstack.com will be undergoing a name change. We will be changing to Formstack.com. With the name change we will need to make adjustments to our servers. We anticipate this to be a pretty painless process but do know that we will experience some down time, up to 20 minutes. We are trying to limit the affect to our users and will perform the switch starting at 5:30 AM on Monday morning.

PPC Test Lifts Click-Thru Rates by Double Digits

At the end of January, I shared some pay-per-click advertising best practices along with a new PPC testing strategy we’re trying out here at Formstack. Overall, the test proved very useful for determining winning ads, and helped us lift ad click-thru rates (CTR) by double digits for multiple keywords. And since we were taught to share growing up, we’ll even let you in on some of the results!

CakeMail Now Integrates With Formstack

CakeMail announced a new integration with Formstack last week and wrote up a blog post describing how to get started using the new integration. For those not familiar with CakeMail, they are a white label email marketing platform that is designed specifically for interactive marketing agencies, software companies, and web firms looking for an easy way to add email marketing to their marketing initiatives.
