Use Saleseforce assignment rules in your web forms
We receive lots of great feature requests for our web form builder and a request that has popped up recently is a request involving our Salesforce integration. Users want the ability for new leads to automatically be routed via Salesforce Assignment Rules. As of last Friday, this feature is now live and available for all customers using our Salesforce integration.
In Salesforce, Assignment Rules allow you to automatically route leads to specific users or queues. For example, you can route all incoming leads, via an online lead generation form, that mark the US as their country to one user, and those that mark UK to another. You can create logic-based rules to route incoming leads based on all kinds of Salesforce data.
Formstack customer Darin McKinnis of CEI Software is taking full advantage of the new feature. Being able to “…get a website to house a web form which takes leads and pipes them over to Salesforce and also…Highrise and Mailchimp…is very nice,” said McKinnis of how this new Salesforce feature helps his business.

It’s as simple as checking the “Use Default Assignment Rule” checkbox on the Salesforce settings page inside Formstack.
