This morning, Open DNS, a “provider of Internet navigation and security”, began blocking Formstack forms from their servers. Because of Open DNS’ actions, a few of our users have reported their forms are now displaying phishing warnings.
Starting today, all paid accounts have a new feature available: landing pages. A “landing page” (typically) is a single web page that appears in response to clicking on an advertisement [Wikipedia]. With Formstack Landing Pages, you can now create simple single-page websites that contain rich content, blog feeds, videos, and (of course) web forms!

Don’t want your form embedded inside your web page? We now have a new option for you when it comes to using your online forms. You can now add your form in a lightbox anywhere on your website. With Formstack’s new mobile-friendly URLs, users can view your forms in a format created specifically for their mobile device. Your form will automatically detect if they’re on a handheld device and present them with the mobile format.
2010 was a great year for Formstack. It was such a great year, it motivated the team to set some pretty lofty goals for 2011. If you have never heard of SXSW, it is one of the largest festivals in the US and held annually in Austin, Texas. The festival is broken up into three parts: Interactive, Film, and Music. It’s a chance for everyone to attend panels, concerts, and have a fun time for a few days.
