Update:
Yesterday we experienced some intermittent downtime. The cause was a spike in traffic and submission to user forms. We had an abnormal spike in both, which caused our servers to slow down and at times become unavailable.
One of the things I love most about working at Formstack is the team’s roaring sense of humor. And, most of the time, we know how to laugh at ourselves. It’s so great to be in an environment where we truly do work hard, and play… well, sometimes just as hard. However, when you’re out of the office, all gloves are off.

Howdie, turkeys!
We just wanted to give you a quick heads up that the Formstack team will be out of the office on Thursday, November 24, and Friday, November 25, as we celebrate the Thanksgiving holiday! So as we are getting our stretchy pants and appetities all set to go for some tasty grubbing, we wish you a happy holiday weekend and hope you are enjoying it as much as we are.
So the holiday season is officially upon us. (My neighbor’s lights have been up for three weeks, so apparently it has been upon them for some time now.)
But I digress.
With the holiday season, definitely comes wonderful time spent with family, lots of goodies to eat and surely enough cheer to last through these harsh winters. However, us planners can get pretty stressed just thinking of all we need to accomplish.
Not long after we hired Kyle Hankins as a our newest Support Specialist, he brought in a Nerf gun to work. I had wanted to do this myself, so I was jealous and had to go out and buy myself a sweet Nerf gun as well. A bigger and better nerf gun. This led to Kyle buying himself an even crazier nerf gun, a badass Nerf rifle. After that, Michael, our lead developer, had to buy a gun to defend himself.
In the coming weeks, we’ll be rolling out some pretty awesome new features within our form builder. This week we are excited to launch the new Field Guide. Acting as what you’d normally consider to be a “wizard”, the Formstack Field Guide adds ease to the form building process. With easy-to-use form templates, prompts and suggestions, and continuous guidance, this new Field Guide is a great way to help you make forms even faster.
We often receive calls from customers about various features they’d like to see us launch. Sometimes, we receive unique requests and other times we recognize some trends occurring. And even though we’d love to get to all of them right away, with a team of twelve that can be quite difficult.
Here at Formstack, we’re all about figuring out new ways to use our product. And as a customer, I’m sure you’ve seen some pretty awesome features that our form builder offers. Everything from conditional logic and smart routing to payment integrations and calculation fields, we’ve got the big boys covered.
That’s right! We have added another Stacker to the team and we are SO very excited to have her. Because Kelly most likely knows herself better than we do, we thought we’d let her write her bio. Seems suitable right?
