Create Your Own Landing Pages Using Formstack
Starting today, all paid accounts have a new feature available: landing pages. A “landing page” (typically) is a single web page that appears in response to clicking on an advertisement []. With Formstack Landing Pages, you can now create simple single-page websites that contain rich content, blog feeds, videos, and (of course) web forms!
Once logged in, you’ll notice a new main menu item marked “Landing Pages” at the top of the page. This new section allows you to create a new Landing Page and begin adding content. It works very similar to our form builder. Just click the “Add Content” button in any column to insert a new piece of content. There are a few types of content you can insert.
Landing Page Content Types
Rich Content
This option allows you to enter styled content. You can apply basic formatting, add custom HTML, and even upload images using the image button.
Embed Code
This option allows you to take media embed codes from various websites such as YouTube and paste them in the embed text box to display special types of content (like YouTube videos) on your landing page.
RSS Feed
This option allows you to dynamically include items from a news or blog feed directly on your landing page. Simply enter the URL of the feed and select your options. Your feed should immediately display right there in the landing page builder.
Formstack Form Placeholder
This option allows you to insert a Formstack form into your landing page. You will be able to select which form to insert when you publish this landing page.
You’ll also notice that you can drag and drop content areas between columns to reorder your landing page. At the bottom of the screen, you have a few other options. “Change Layout” lets you pick from several different page layout types (2 column, 3 column, etc.). The “Edit Style” button lets you make global changes to the style of the landing page. There is also a custom CSS section that lets you define custom styles for your landing page.
Once you are finished, click on the Publish tab to select which Formstack form you would like to display on your landing page. This tab will also generate the live link to your new landing page.
That’s Formstack landing pages in a nutshell. You can watch a short video below to see a preview of building a landing page. I encourage you to log in and try it out. There are feedback links on the landing page dashboard if you would like to send us your thoughts or suggestions.

I’ve never heard of Formstack before but it looks like it is simple to use to build a squeeze page.
Looks like the ideal solution. Question tough: can we host the landing page on our server?
@lmalka — Currently, no you cannot host landing pages on your server. However, we are considering a future feature that would allow you to use your own domain name to display the landing pages.
+1 on the domain name feature. This could be a very easy way for us to do A/B testing with online advertising, but the domain would have to be our own in order for us to use it.
This might get me to return to FormStack as a customer – if we can use a specified domain for the landing page.

+1 for the custom domain feature. A landing page does not look professional, IMHO, unless it is on the business’ proper domain (or a subdomain of it). Email subscribers do not trust domains they are not familiar with. Once this feature is there, then I’ll consider Formstack as a Landing Page building tool.
Hi Michael,
We actually launched landing pages as a separate product from our form builder and the custom domain feature is now available. You can view more info here: http://www.formstack.com/landing-pages.html and sign up for a free trial here: http://www.formstack.com/pricing.html?tab=landingpages
