We Love Our Partners
2010 was a great year for Formstack. It was such a great year, it motivated the team to set some pretty lofty goals for 2011. In addition to rolling out new features and updates to our online form builder, we want to identify other ways to provide value to our current customers and find opportunities to reach more new customers. One way to accomplish that is through partnerships.
As one of the newest additions to the Formstack team, I’m focused on building our Partner Programs. We’re proud of our product and its features, but we also recognize the importance of developing relationships with partners that add real value to our customers and also meet the unique needs of our partner network.
Formstack Integration Partners
In 2009, we launched several third-party integrations that allowed Formstack customers to connect their forms with other popular web applications. These integrations include payment processors, CRM systems, email marketing solutions, and blogging applications, to name a few. Some of our most widely-used integrations include our partnerships with Freshbooks, an online invoicing system; Highrise, a web-based CRM software made by 37signals; MailChimp, a popular email marketing service; and WordPress, an open source blog publishing application. We are always looking to partner with companies that provide user-friendly web applications that help make our customers’ lives easier.
Formstack Allies are companies and organizations that participate in our affiliate partner program. We love our Allies because they help extend our reach into new markets and spread the word about our product. They benefit by adding value to their own customers and contacts while earning commission for their referrals. Some of our favorite Formstack Allies and biggest supporters include DK New Media, a new media agency led by our friend Douglas Karr; Noobie, Inc., a technology coaching and consulting destination powered by experienced techie Patric Welch (aka “Mr. Noobie”); and PTP New Media, an integrated marketing communications agency founded by James Robert Lay. Our affiliate network is sizable, and we have great relationships with many more Allies across several different industries.
As we take a look at building our Partner Programs, it became evident that it can be difficult to define some partner relationships. Not every partner fits into a specific category, but sometimes it just makes sense to work together. We enjoy doing business with people we know, like, and trust, and Formstack Friends are partners that share our values and want to develop a long-term, mutually beneficial relationship with us.
2011: The Year of Partnerships
We are grateful for the relationships that we’ve built with partners and friends in our relatively short lifetime as a company and the positive feedback we’ve received from our customers who have benefited from our partnerships. We are excited to extend our partner network in 2011 and work with more companies and organizations that share our passion for helping anybody easily do business online.
Is your company or organization a good fit for our Integration Partner, Allies, or Friends partner programs? Let’s chat! If you don’t fit into one of these categories but believe there is an opportunity for our companies to work together, we’d still love to talk.
