August Community Partner: Junior Achievement of Central Indiana
The Organization
Junior Achievement of Central Indiana (JACI) is an organization that provides opportunities for students to gain valuable skills that will enrich their lives and careers in the future. JACI teaches skills that may not necessarily be covered in the classroom, such as financial literacy and entrepreneurship, but understands the importance of these skills when it comes to being successful working adults.
How Can You Help Support Junior Achievement of Central Indiana?
JACI gives awards each year to Indy’s Best and Brightest. Young professionals under the age of 40 are honored for their achievements in their industries and what they are doing for the Indianapolis community as a whole. Nominations are currently being accepted online in several different categories. The proceeds from the event will support JACI. For more information about Indy’s Best and Brightest visit the JACI website, Facebook, or Twitter account. If you would like to nominate a young professional who you think is making a difference in the Indy community please fill out the nomination form.
A fun way for your company or group to get involved is with the JA Bowl-a-thons. The Bowl-a-thons occur throughout the year and raise money for JACI’s programs throughout the year. JACI also has opportunities to donate or volunteer. Those wishing to become a Corporate Sponsor can also find more information online. We believe the skills being taught by the JACI are vital for the success of young people and the success of the Indianapolis Community in the future.
