New CSV Import Allows for More Efficient Data Reports

Have you ever exported data from your Formstack account and wish you could put it back to run reports? Or maybe you had created several forms and would like to merge that data in one easy list within your account? Well my friend, you are in luck.

With the new CSV import feature, you’ll be able to easily import any external data into your Formstack account. So if you need to either upload or merge data, we’ve now made it easy for you to accomplish that.

Simply go to your “Submissions” tab and at the bottom you’ll see the “Import Data” button.

When you click that, you can either upload a CSV file or drag and drop it into the box. From there, you’ll be able to see all of your existing and imported data together, for a more accurate analysis. Pretty awesome, eh?

If you would like a visual reference, be sure to check out the video below. It’ll walk you through the process with step-by-step guidance. Have more questions? Comment below!

  1. Yes! This is great. I’m so glad to see this feature; it makes it easier when you have to switch over to an entirely new form but want to upload the data from a previous form.

I’m excited for the continual updates!

    This is a great addition.

It sounds like there’s supposed to be a video on this post, but I’m not seeing the video.

Is it correct to assume that none of the emails and redirects (customer email confirmations, etc.) are processed for imported data?
