Wow! What a year. 2010 was one of the best years Formstack has ever had and we couldn’t be more thrilled to see what 2011 will bring us. We released several new integrations, added new features, upgraded features, increased the number of our team and even changed names! Take a look back and see all of the improvements and additions we made to our online form builder in 2010.
We often get questions from customers on how to get started in accepting online payments for their business or non-profit. Let’s review some of the options you can use with Formstack including a quick comparison chart.
The latest update to the Formstack form builder is something not seen to our end users, we switched our internal billing system from a “rolled-our-own” system to using Chargify. Chargify describes itself as “the easiest way to start collecting subscription credit card payments from your customers.” and we would agree. Chargify allows you to set-up, bill, and manage subscriptions. Best of all, Chargify supports several payment gateways.
This week we will be introducing many new features and upgrades made to most of our integrations that will allow for new options and easier set-up on the customer side of the integration.
PayPal Pro Integration
You can use one payment option, such as PayPal, on your order form, or you can use two or more payment options. Each payment option will need to be set up separately under Settings > Payment Integration.
We just released a new version of our form builder, and are happy to announce seven new field types that should greatly enhance the ease of collecting and validating data online.
Name, Address and Phone Number Fields
You’ve been asking us for more payment integration methods since the day we first introduced PayPal. Those requests did not fall on deaf ears, as we’ve been working behind the scenes to give you multiple payment options. With that said, we are proud to introduce Authorize.Net as one of our latest payment integrations.
We’ve had our PayPal integration for a while now and many of you are using it for order forms, event registration forms, ticket promotions and more. But one of the requests we often get is “do you integrate with other processors?” We are proud to announce that today we are launching some enhanced features to our PayPal integration as well as new integration with Google Checkout, Authorize.net and First Data.
